Novotel Paris Gare De Lyon

Hotel has a great location, very clean, helpful staff and the rooms are a good size - especially for Paris city. I would certainly stay there again.

Maybe not the most suitable for families with very young children.

Friendly atmosphere, and good service from hotel staff. Good and free internet service. Children play room.

What I liked about the hotel was its location. It is located outside of a major terminal giving easy acces to preaty much anywhere in Paris. Also, the size of the room was a plus. There are pretty good restaurants a few blocks away with very good prices for people who are on a budget.

I didn't like that it took three and a half hours after the cheking in time to find me a room. The hotel's restaurant and their laundry service are expensive and their internet sucks. No shuttle to any of the airports.

The room was visibly unclean upon arrival.

Proximity to station and restaurants is very good, The hotel itself is modern and rooms spacious for Paris, We enjoyed our breakfast, but there was no sign or indeed information that the breakfast room was on the first floor.The public areas were good and the free 20 minutes of internet use was welcomed.

The superior room we stayed in (406) lacked bathroom space and we did not like the very tiny separate toilet. The space between the side of the bed and the adjacent wall was very tight, and it would be easy to walk into the wall in the dark at night.There was no shower cap provided and the toiletries provided, were scant and of budget quality. The reception staff were personable but detached, and indeed the young lady took ages to find our pre-booked and paid for room, which was a bit of a hassle after a seven hour train journey from Italy. . We have stayed in many Accor hotels and this was one of the better ones, but please Accor give us decent pillows, top sheets, (we don't all like to sleep under nylon duvets which are too warm). Plastic bathrooms may be convenient but adequate space in which to sit on the toilet is more practical for most guests!!

Staff were helpful when we needed a map of Paris. Bed was very comfortable. We chose the hotel because of proximity to the train station.

Room was not as clean as we expected - shower surfaces, dust around edges of the carpet. Free internet was great but it stopped working 10 minutes after I started using it to make some bookings, so I had to switch to the paid service.

The location is perfect for exploring, and the bar area offered a good atmosphere for evening relaxation.

The lack of storage space and minimal rooms amenities felt inadequate for our needs, leaving us wanting more comfort .

I appreciated the amazing breakfast buffet and the clean, comfortable room during my 2-night stay. It was just a few steps away from the Gare de Lyon and easily accessible to beautiful spots like the Place des Vosges and Luxembourg Gardens for leisurely city strolls.

Good service from the staff. Modern building and rooms on the balcony overlooking grey parisian skies. Savoury and tasty breakfast choice with pre-set options, fresh fruit, a nice view.

Very nice and clean hotel, friendly for families, decent breakfast. We would suggest the hotel's restaurant especially for families (has children's menu for just 8 euros and the rest of the menu has variety and decent prices). The personel was very kind especially in the restaurant. The hotel was near to metro station so it was easy for transportation. For certain we suggest it.

We would like for the breakfast to have variety different from day to day.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the metro and near yummy cafés. We visited the iconic Eiffel Tower and explored the charming streets. Breakfast was good, though it gets crowded on weekends, so plan ahead!

We faced a hiccup with our room not being cleaned properly when we arrived, disappointing and could have been handled better.
